NBA Tuesday Preview and Free Pick - Cleveland Cavaliers at Oklahoma City Thunder

Preview and free pick for a Tuesday NBA showdown between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Preview and prediction for an NBA showdown between Cleveland and Oklahoma City.

The new-look Cleveland Cavaliers wrap up a three-game road trip with a stop at Chesapeake Energy Arena this Tuesday night for an inter-conference clash against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Game time on TNT is set for 8 p.m. with the Thunder listed as four-point favorites and the total set at 224 points with VietBet.

After completely revamping its roster through multiple trades right before last Thursday's deadline, the updated version of the Cavaliers took to the floor against Boston on Sunday and came away with an impressive 121-99 victory to easily cover as five-point road underdogs. Cleveland has won its last three games both straight-up and against the spread with the total going OVER VietBet's closing line in all three games.

Cleveland Cavaliers free pickEven with several new faces in the lineup, things remain the same in Cleveland with LeBron James scoring a game-high 24 points in Sunday's win while adding eight rebounds and 10 assists. Seven different players ended that game in double figures including a trio off the bench. The Cavaliers shot 53.6 percent from the field while converting on 16 of their 30 shots from three-point range.

The current NBA basketball betting odds posted on this game by Elite-rated VietBet  have James and the Cavs as road 'Dogs.

Cleveland Cavaliers       (+4)
Oklahoma City Thunder (-4)

Over 224 points (-110)
Under 224 points (-110)

The Thunder have won two of their last three games both SU and ATS including a big road win against Golden State on Feb. 6. This past Sunday, they beat Memphis 110-92 as 4.5-point home favorites with VietBet. Going back to a loss to Washington on Jan. 30, Oklahoma City is still a shaky 2-5 both SU and ATS in its last seven games. The total has stayed UNDER in five of those contests.

Oklahoma City Thunder NBA betting oddsPaul George had the hot hand for the Thunder on Sunday with a game-high 33 points while Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony sat this one out with sore ankles. Both remain listed as questionable for Tuesday night, but that situation could change as we get closer to tip off. Westbrook is the team's leading scorer with 25.5 PPG and Anthony is third on the list with 17.0 points a game.

Look for Oklahoma City to be at full strength for this inter-conference showdown, but I am sticking with Cleveland ATS as my 'best bet' pick given the new-found momentum it will bring into this game.
