The Los Angeles Clippers were humiliated and Game 3 against the San Antonio Spurs. Do they have the ability to bounce back and even up the series on Sunday afternoon?

Things reached a definite low for the Los Angeles Clippers as they took it very squarely on the chin against the defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. So on Sunday, they are not only looking to redeem themselves, but also seeking an opportunity to make the series even at two games apiece. NBA betting action will begin at 3:30 PM ET at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, and once the game tips off, BetAnySports patrons have the opportunity to place wagers while the contest is in progress through the facilities of Live Betting Extra.

The performances have been getting progressively worse for the Clippers in this series. They were dominant in a 15-point when in Game 1, then lost in disappointing fashion in overtime in Game 2. As the series shifted to San Antonio, the Clippers got hit by a Mack truck, never really getting have the starting gate. They were the NBA's top rated offensive team, but they shot just 34% on the evening, with 11 points in the third quarter. And they scored their season-low. The Spurs led by 37 at one point, and when it was over the final was 100-73.

As you can imagine, it is a dejected Clippers team that went about its practice session on Saturday, but something tells us they will get back their determination, as San Antonio did after laying an egg in the series opener.

In the NBA betting odds that have been established on this game by the folks at BetAnySports, San Antonio is a solid favorite:

San Antonio Spurs -6
Los Angeles Clippers +6

Over 199.5 points -110
Under 199.5 points -110

The lowest total the Clippers ran up in a regular-season was 85 points, so they were simply not prepared for the defensive job San Antonio did against them. They shot just 34% from the field, as mentioned, and it was a pitiful 26% from beyond the three-point arc. JJ Redick, renowned as one of the better shooters in the league, has made only 31% of his shots in the series. A lot of this has to do with the tremendous defense of people like Kawhi Leonard, who recently won the league's Defensive Player of the Year award. Leonard is most definitely a two-way player, as he demonstrated to BetAnySports patrons on his way to winning the Most Valuable Player award in the NBA Finals last year. He was the game's high scorer with 32 points, and no one else even had half that amount on either team.

San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich did some strategizing in Game 2, but he didn't need to do very much to combat Los Angeles' big man on Friday. Things were so bad for the Clippers that no one needed to hack DeAndre Jordan who didn't even take a free-throw in his 30 minutes of action.

So as we come to Game 4, small forward Matt Barnes of the Clippers declares this game a "test of our character." That would most certainly seem to be the case, and the Spurs passed that kind of test when they won at the Staples center in Game 2.
