It was not exactly unexpected that the Los Angeles Dodgers could possibly win Game 2 of the National League Championship Series behind their ace left-hander, Clayton Kershaw. And he indeed pitched a gem, going seven extremely strong innings and putting the bullpen in good shape. A home run by Adrian Gonzalez was all that was needed for the Dodgers to come away with a victory to even up the series. Now the Chicago Cubs have to come back, or they will be behind the eight-ball with a club that was widely considered to be clearly the best in all of baseball. They will send last year's Cy Young Award winner to the mound on Tuesday night, in this game that begins at 8:05 PM ET at Dodger Stadium. In the playoffs he has not fared as well as some might have expected, though, so maybe there is some redemption in order for him.

Manager Dave Roberts was looking for as many innings is Hill could possibly give them only four days after his previous start. He went into the third inning, and the Dodgers more or less got a "committee" job from the staff, then came from behind to win the game, with the highlight being a save by Kershaw.
