Tottenham takes on Manchester City at Wembley Stadium and ROI Capper has free tips for the match.

England Premier League Monday Showcase

The Premier League will attempt to move on Monday, after the news broke of Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha perished in a helicopter accident, outside the King Power stadium on Saturday.

The premiership immediately showed their unity with the Foxes, sending out all the competing teams with black arm bands on Sunday as they mourned the pending news of the beloved owner. Srivaddhanaprabha was a highly successful businessman, who came to prominence during Leicester City's improbable championship run during the 2015-2016 season, where the club started at 50/1 odds and later completed an unbelievable title run.

Match week tens last match will be played with heavy hearts, as the EPL will attempt to distract all those grieving during this trying time. Although this league is very competitive, the out-pouring of compassion throughout the country has been commendable, as they attempt to pick-up their neighbors in Leicester.

Tottenham vs Manchester City
Wembley Stadium, London, England
10-29-2018 - 4:00 pm ET

Tottenham received news earlier in the week that their new stadium would not be ready for this season as projected. Now the north Londoners must settle into their home away from home, as Wembley Stadium will once again be the back-drop for their remaining home fixtures.

Mauricio Pochettino will attempt to get a response out of his troops, after a disappointing 2-2 draw against PSV Eindhoven during mid-week Champions League play. The Argentine certainly understands the importance of getting a positive result on Monday night. With the defending EPL champs traveling to the capital city, Spurs have the opportunity to keep ground in the pursuit of a Premier League title.

Spurs are certain to introduce more familiar faces into their starting eleven, with key figure Deli Alli closing in on match fitness. The young English international could see his first significant game time in a month, while Erik LamelaMousa Dembele and Lucas Moura are in line to hear their names called. Pochettino will want his most explosive unit on the pitch, against Manchester City's juggernaut side.

The hosts will continue to lean on the goal scoring exploits of Harry Kane. The polished center-forward has traditionally gotten off to slow starts domestically, but the "Golden Boot" winner has already placed 5 balls in the back of the net. He continues to carry the hopes and dreams of Spurs supporters in their quest for some long awaited silverware. The remaining cast must step-up and help threaten the Citizens back-line, with Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela and Cristian Eriksen all being asked to lessen the burden on their star-striker.

Expect Pochettino to stick with a 4-2-3-1 formation with Eriksen running the complete show from his standard number-ten role, while the Spurs pacey wingers will be asked to break down their defenders, as they attempt to place precise services into the box.

Spurs must also stay dedicated on the back-end. The Londoners have had a hard time keeping the Citizens off the score-board during the Pep Guardiola regime, giving up 9 goals over the past three matches. There must be a complete focus on limiting Man City's potent attack, who can simply slice opposing defenses apart in a matter of seconds.

Tottenham will start the match-day sitting 5th in the EPL table, with Arsenal dropping points against Crystal Palace. The home side have the opportunity to re-gain their spot in the top four of the table. Spurs also have the added bonus of capturing the third overall position. With a straight-up victory against Man City, they could also surpass their 'Big Six' rivals by a single point.

Manchester City have picked right up where they left off last season, with a clear focus to win multiple trophies, the sky blues are in contention on multiple fronts.

Pep Guardiola seems close to having his team hitting on all cylinders, and now with the return of Kevin De Bruyne, the Citizens are set to go on another successful run. De Bruyne allows Pep's attacking offense to run at full throttle. The Belgium play-maker keeps defenses off balance with his instinctual passing techniques, Pep's most valued player was a welcomed addition into the Citizen's powerful starting eleven.

Man City also routinely send out one of the more feared front-line trios in Europe. Aligned within a 4-3-3 shape, the visitors are led by Sergio Aguero, who can't stop scoring goals while wearing the Citizen's kit. Pep also has the luxury of choosing from the likes of Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva, LeRoy Sane and Gabriel Jesus, who will all be itching to have their names called to play under the prime-time lights.

David Silva should be a definite go for Monday's occasion. The Spanish midfielder would be a true superstar on most other teams, but with the amount of quality throughout Citie's squad, the long-time Citizens contributor can often go overlooked. But, his instincts on the pitch cannot be understated, as he is a true lynch-pin in the overall success of this massive club.

After Liverpool and Chelsea both had impressive victories over the weekend, Manchester City has fallen from the top spot in the table. Pep's men can regain their 1st place position, with all three points against Spurs, as they also look to keep their undefeated domestic campaign alive.

Tottenham vs Manchester City - Prediction

Tottenham have had moderate success against the other members of England's Big Six club, but Spurs have struggled against the Citizens as of late, failing to match-up with their high powered attack.

Manchester City seem to be on the verge of playing at peak form, which is bad news for their hosts. The Citizens enter Monday's contest having won 6 of their last 7 matches in all competitions, while posting 20 goals over that stretch, for an average of 2.9 scores per fixture.

Man City have also won their last 3 matches against the Londoners, while scoring 9 goals over this recent run of success.

Tottenham must juggle their rotation correctly this week, as Spurs have EFL Cup responsibilities coming only two days after Monday's affair, adding additional stress on this lean squad, who are in much need of reinforcements.

Monday's match-up has traditionally provided us with plenty of excitement, with the Total exceeding 2.5 Goals in 13 of their last 15 meetings, setting up for another must see event.

I anticipate Both Teams getting on the final score-line, with the Citizens bagging multiple goals during their travels as they attempt to reclaim their top spot in the league.
