English Premier League Match Day 4

The English Premier League returns to play on Saturday with an exciting slate of games that will kickoff when Manchester City will host old rivals Liverpool who have dominated the Citizens as of late, followed by defending champs Chelsea facing off with 2015-2016 & 5000-1  Premier League Winners Leicester City in what should be an exciting contest per the script when these two teams hook up.

Tottenham will travel North to meet a Everton team with huge aspirations for League and European Titles this year, while Watford will also leave London but travel South to face off with a Southhampton team that have yet to really find their form in this early season, but the Saints are always a tough match at home on their own turf at St. Mary's.

The Day will conclude with Manchester United going on the road to take on a scrappy Stoke City team full of confidence having already taken down one of the top six clubs in Arsenal on their home pitch, now they will turn their attention to ending the Red Devils perfect record.

                                 10301 - Manchester City - 10302 Liverpool

Manchester City will look to break their poor run of form against Liverpool in which they are 0-1-3 in their last four games, with another offseason of bringing in high priced reinforcements Man City believe this is the year they make the break through and recapature a Premier League title that has evaded them since the 2011/2012 season.

 Manchester City have scored 2.33 goals per match in the last six home matches, and have only conceded 0.67 goals per match during that same home span.

Look for Man City to field a 4-4-2 formation with Sergio Agueero and Gabriel Jesus anchoring a dangerous frontline.

 Liverpool scored 2 goals per match in the last six away matches, and have conceded 0.83 goals per match in the last six away matches.

  Liverpool should field a 4-2-3-1 againt Man City in this spot to help offset Man Citys powerful lineup, but Klopp can be unpredictable in his formations.

I look for Manchester City to break their poor run of form against Liverpool, and get a positive result and take 3 points in this clash of Premier League Giants..

Leicester City traditionally give Chelsea troubles at home with their fast counter attacking style, when these the two teams get together goals are scored with an average 3.3 Goals a game when they cross pathes.

Leicester City has scored 1.83 goals per match in the last six home matches, while Chelsea has scored 1.83 goals per match in the last six away matches.

I look for that trend to continue in this matchup of the past two Premier League Champions.

Tottenham should be more than excited to get away from Wembley Stadium and go on the road and play their games with their perfomances at their temporary home being less than spectacular.

I look for Spurs to be extra motivated to grab all 3 points after their slip up's against Burnley and Chelsea which saw them drop points in both matches, a match up against Everton team whom have traditionally played them tough, but I expect Tottenham to grap the victory in this spot, especially with the Blue's dealing with the destraction of Wayne Rooney's misconduct issues.

Southhampton will welcome fellow unbeaten Watford to St. Marys in what should be an exciting contest with both teams in good form, I see both squads hitting the back of the net in this spot in what should be an action packed game.

Watford have conceded a staggering 2.33 goals per match in the last six away matches,which plays into the Host's favor.

I look for Southhampton to put multiple Goals on the board in this spot.

Stoke City welcome a red hot Manchester United team that has yet to drop points and are in the best form as a unit in the past 3-4 years.

Manchester United are averaging an Impressive 3.33 Goals per game in the early season and have yet to allow a goal in with three clean sheets.

Stoke City have scored 1.17 goals per match in the last six home matches, but have allowed in 1.5 goals per match in those same last six home matches so their backline will have to be on RED alert.

Stoke however have deemed themselves the Giants killers at home, and with new signing Jese from PSG, the Potters will be up for the challenge.
