The Delaware Lottery has reported that revenue generated from online gambling in the US state has fallen to the lowest monthly figure since a regulated market was launched in the state last year.

Revenue from the online gambling industry during October amounted to just $130,469 (€104,996), which is only slightly higher than the $111,388 posted in November 2013 when online gambling first became regulated in Delaware.

The October figure was approximately $15,000 less than the amount achieved in September and even further away from the record monthly revenue of $240,763 that was generated in April this year.

Just $28,510 of the monthly total revenue was generated from online poker, which is the lowest proportion since June and is some way short of the record $106,900 posted in December of last year.

The Delaware Lottery also noted that just 315 new online gambling accounts were created in October.

Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway are the only three gambling facilities that offer online gaming services in the state.
