The Delaware Lottery has recorded an increase in igaming revenue in the US state during the month of June, despite a significant drop in online poker revenue.

Delaware's online gaming industry generated revenue of $184,944 (€137,262) in June, which is an increase of 7.1% on the $175,410 recorded in the previous month.

The jump in revenue comes despite a major blow for Delaware's online poker operators, which were only able to report combined revenue of $25,607, down 55% on the $57,470 posted in May.

The fall in online poker revenue comes after Delaware also suffered a significant drop in May.

The June figures now place Delaware's combined online poker revenue at its lowest level since the first online gambling website launched in the state last November.

In comparison, online casino games in the state generated $162,337 in June, which represents a significant increase of 124% on the $72,537 achieved in the previous month.
