The Oklahoma City Thunder will be looking to recover from a devastating Game 1 defeat when they take the floor against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night at the AT&T Center.

Well, what can you say about Game 1 of the Western Conference semi-finals, except that it was over in the first quarter? The San Antonio Spurs shot 80% in the opening period, and they never looked back, with a 33-point lead at the half, ending in a 124-92 shellacking that creates something of a sense of urgency in the Oklahoma City Thunder camp for Game 2, which begins at 9:35 PM ET at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. BetAnySports customers can get reduced juice wagering before the game begins, and then after the opening whistle they can enjoy real-time wagering while the game is in progress through the state-of-the-art software available with Live Betting Extra.

It was simply a combination of Oklahoma City's stars having a lousy game, while San Antonio seemingly couldn't miss. It is quite obvious that as Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant go, so goes the Thunder offense, and they combined to make just 11 of 34 shots on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Spurs got sizzling performances from LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard, who combined to make 28 out of their 36 shots from the field. No one had to play more than 30 minutes, and it was so lopsided that Tony Parker, who had 12 assists through the first three quarters, was able to sit out the entire fourth period. Everybody got into the act for San Antonio, and although admittedly not everybody was red-hot (for example, Kevin Martin was just 1-7 and Kyle Anderson was only 1-5), the team shot 61%, and that included five out of six 3-pointers from Danny Green. He only made 33% during the regular season from long-range, so when he gets hot, there's going to be a lot of trouble for the opposition.

In the basketball betting odds posted on Game 2 from the people at BetAnySports, San Antonio is once again the favorite:

San Antonio Spurs -7.5
Oklahoma City Thunder +7.5

Over 200.5 points -110
Under 200.5 points -110

It has been said by many observers that Oklahoma City doesn't have enough defense to win an NBA title, and they certainly had their share of difficulties keeping San Antonio under control. The Spurs are known for their ball movement, and they were in full throttle on Saturday, registering 39 assists on the evening, while turning the ball over only eight times.

This now becomes a bit of a psychological situation for the Thunder, as they tried to block out this loss from their minds. Let's remember that the Spurs remain fresh, as their starters were not extended all that much in the four-game sweep over Memphis. And Oklahoma City continues to have woes on the road, as they are now just 17-25-2 ATS.

BetAnySports patrons realize that Durant and Westbrook are not likely to come up very cold again, and it was encouraging to see Serge Ibaka nail a few threes on his way to 19 points. But he only had two rebounds and failed to block a shot in 29 minutes.

Oklahoma City has been in this position before, losing games in the Western Conference finals two years ago to the Spurs by margins of 35 and 28 points. And they came back to be much more competitive in the subsequent games.

But they will have to shoot better from the arc than they did on Saturday. When you take Ibaka out of the mix, they were only 3-17 from long-range, and none of the other starters had a triple.

The Thunder is +550 go on to win the series, with San Antonio priced at -800 at BetAnySports, where customers can enjoy reduced juice wagering, not to mention the thrill of Live Betting Extra.
