The Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers will lock horns in an AFC Divisional Round playoff matchup on Saturday night at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Kansas City Chiefs were absolutely destroyed by the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game at Heinz Field earlier in the season. They like to think there are different squad now, but so are the Steelers, who are on eight-game winning streak coming into the Divisional Round of the AFC playoffs. The game between these two will begin at 8:20 PM ET, as it has been rescheduled because of ice storms in the Kansas City area. NBC televises the game from Arrowhead Stadium, and BetAnySports customers, who get reduced juice for better odds before the contest begins, will be able to stay in the action after the opening kickoff with the help of Live Betting Ultra.

The Chiefs were the AFC West champions, earning that with a sweep of the Oakland Raiders, and included in their 12-4 record (9-7 ATS) are victories on the road at Carolina, Denver and Atlanta, having dealt the Falcons their last defeat. Now they come into this game having won 10 of their last 12, and oddly, both of their losses during that time were by the same 19-17 score, and both of them took place at home.

The Steelers, as mentioned, have won eight games in a row, and they have scored at least 24 points in each of them. As the season has progressed their defense has gotten better, and now they are much more capable putting pressure on the passer (35 sacks in last ten games). And of course, there are the "triplets," including quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, running back Le'Veon Bell, and wide receiver Antonio Brown.

The ice storms hit Kansas City early in the day, and there has been much work done on the field to make it ready for this contest. However, there is the likelihood of a slippery surface, so one has to imagine which of these teams might be advantaged by conditions like that.

In the AFC playoff betting odds posted on this game by the people at BetAnySports, the Chiefs are slight favorite:

Kansas City Chiefs -2
Pittsburgh Steelers +2

Over 44.5 points -110
Under 44.5 points -110

When these teams met before, Pittsburgh got off to a 22-0 lead before you can even blink an eye. Roethlisberger wound up with five touchdown passes and Bell, coming off a three-game suspension, rushed for 144 yards. Maybe Pittsburgh won't be able to do it all that easy this time around, but the fact of the matter is that it is difficult for Kansas City to really extract an advantage over an opponent unless it can force some turnovers.

Obviously there is no guarantee that the Steelers are going to be error-free, because Big Ben threw 13 interceptions during the regular season, plus two in the playoff game against Miami, and also had 13 more interceptions dropped by the opposition. So as BetAnySports patrons can imagine, he's got to keep those mistakes to a minimum. Kansas City has 33 takeaways on the season, the highest total in the league.

With 1268 rushing yards and 616 more through the air, Bell makes a good case for himself as Most Valuable Player, though he won't likely get it. And of course, Brown caught over hundred passes with a dozen touchdowns, plus two against Miami very early in the game to put the Dolphins at a big disadvantage. Kansas City now has some people who could make a few big plays happen. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill can do it in a number of different ways, including catching the ball, running the ball on reverses and returning kicks. Tight end Travis Kelce was an All-Pro, with 85 catches, and he will be Alex Smith's preferred outlet in this game.
