Vantis Update

We have received such a large volume of requests from patient, and not so patient, players from the now-defunct BETonSPORTS that we have made some contact and have an update and some solid information for players. However, if you are looking to find out exactly when or exactly how much is going to be sent to you, you will have to continue to wait.

Vantis has sent out another round of emails to contact players. We spoke with them and they are trying the most cost effective method of communication with ex-players - email. Many players contacted us this week upon completing their claim response. The company has sent out tens of thousands of emails, yet receives an inordinate amount of rejections. Still, they continue to send out email and when they have "exhausted this means" they will begin to contact players via regular US Mail. Vantis does not plan on calling players at this time.

In the meantime Vantis has updated the new claim form that they created for players who have not been contacted. We had heard from players that new email addresses and/or incorrect ones (either from the player or in the Vantis database) rejected the new claim application. This has been corrected. The email address is no longer required, though it still may indicate that on the form. You can find the form here.

We speak with players on the phone that do not have Internet access. Today we input one player’s information into the form with no email address. After carefully completing each field, including account number and balance, we got the following message.

“Your claim has been received. Please bear in mind that due to the volume of claims received we will not be in a position to report further to you until at least May 2008.” 

In addition, players with multiple accounts at multiple BETonSPORTS properties are wondering how to verify each account. Players with more than one account should put their additional account numbers and balances in the additional information box on any of the claim forms. In addtion, if a pllayer has no email address, leave this field blank.

What players can expect to achieve is not a payout yet. Instead Vantis is sending email with a claim number. For those without Internet access, players can expect a claim number to arrive via the US mail down the road.

Finally, players who have not been contacted have been having great success with sending an email to betonsports@vantisplc.com. Please include your Name, Address, Phone Number, Account Number and Balance for the quickest response. Every player that we have given this method of contact has had nothing but positive things to say about the response time and customer service from Vantis. This method of contact is greatly appreciated and welcome by Vantis.
