'theguesser’ picked games at a rate of 71% for the entire bowl season and ended up coming in 1st place, winning $150. He needed Alabama in the BCS Championship to ensure his victory and was most likely sweating as the game went into the fourth quarter. But the Crimson Tide rolled in the 4th and ensured ‘theguesser’s’ victory. Had ‘the guesser’ been a member his payout would have been for $250.

In addition, 'Hoss' had a great bowl season picking games and finished second. He was at the top of the standings all contest long and end up with a prize of $50. He nailed 4 of the 5 BCS games, including the Championship to solidify a second place finish – only 1 point behind the overall winner. ‘Btownrats’ and ‘monster’ both tied with 26 points, just two points behind the winner. This year the contest gave additional point to the winning selections of the BCS games with 5 points for the championship game. ‘monster’ came from a few places behind by winning the last three games. However, his tie-breaker, the total points in the BCS Championship Game, was less than ‘Btownrats’ total of 49. So, the third place prize of a $50 Free Bet at BetOnline goes to Btownrats. A $25 check will be sent to ‘monster’.

Finally, another tie came at the 25 point level. ‘Samo’ and ‘Dean S’ both tied at this lever. ‘Dean S’ has been on a roll, winning the OSGA 2009 Pro Football Pick’em just a few days ago. However his luck ran out and his tie breaker was 4 points less than “Samo’s’ number.  Thus, ‘Samo’ will receive a $25 Free Bet from SportBet.
