Congratulations to ALL who entered our first-ever season long football contest. In all, a couple of players really stood out during the year. Take a look at the final standings here.

'Dean' picked games at a rate of 70% on the season and ended up coming in 1st place, garnishing 50% of the prize pool or $850, the largest single prize ever awarded by OSGA. 'Dean' averaged over 11 wins per week and fnished with 180 total  points. Well Done 'Dean'!

In addition, 'piper3545' had a great season picking games and finished second. He picked 14 games in Week 17 to ensure a 25% share of the prize pie. A check for $425 will be sent out to 'piper3545'. And finally, our own 'OSGAJim 'had a great year picking games. Sitting in the top 5 all year, 'OSGAJim' tied for third with 'OzzieOswald' and 'Qs'. These three players each wound up with 171 total points, rounding out the top 5 winners, and thus, the prize pool will be split accordingly. The remaining 25% of the pool will be split amongst the players tied for 3rd place – each getting $142.

But, 'OSGAJim' has decided that his prize will be split amongst the four players who finished right behind him. “I would rather see more players getting some prize cash. I really want the bragging rights of picking better than 10 games right every week of the season.” Thus, OSGA Pick’em Players who had 169 total points, 'picks at 63', 'JAWS37', 'pd' and 'winnie4222', will each split Jim’s piece of the prize pool. Each player will receive $35.25.

Again, thanks to all who entered for making the OSGA 2009 Pro Football Pick 'em a great contest. We were hoping that someone would hit all 16 during the year, but are glad to have seen so many players cash in during the season. Final season winners will be notified directly via email.
