Gary Ervin will handle the point and will look to find Beverley on the wing or go inside to his big men. First-team All-SEC forward Sonny Weems leads the squad in scoring with 14.3 points per game. 6-10 center Darian Townes (11.9 ppg, 5.2 rpg) has improved down low and will look to attack the Hoosiers frontline. Charles Thomas comes off the bench to provide inside punch. The Hogs are averaging 73.6 points per game and are allowing 67.0 points per contest.
When the Hoosiers have it going they are tough to stop. Their strong inside outside game features First-team All-Big Ten guard Eric Gordon and the Big Ten Player of the Year forward D.J. White. Gordon, who is one of the top freshmen in America can score from the outside or on skirt through the defense for layups. He averages 21.3 points per game. White puts up double-doubles with regularity, as he averages 17.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per contest. White will demand the ball and will look to bang around with the Razorbacks big men. Guard Armon Bassett (11.1 ppg) can get hot and has had some big games down the stretch. JaMarcus Ellis will be asked to help White inside. He's a strong rebounder, but lacks touch around the basket. The Hoosiers are averaging 75.1 points per game. They allow just 64.7 points per outing.
