Uncertainty in NL Central Leads to Intriguing MLB Betting Line

A pair of National League Central foes will square off over the weekend as the Milwaukee Brewers look to take revenge against the World Series champion St. Louis Cardinals that bumped them from the MLB betting line in last year’s NLCS. Get your odds for the reunion today.

The Cardinals (12-7) won their first six series for the first time in team history, but they struggled to score in losing two of three to Chicago earlier this week. the current MLB Betting line on the series at Diamond Sports has St. Louis at -150 to go at least 2-1 in the weekend series.

After storming past the Brewers in six games last fall, the Cards went on to knock off the Texas Rangers for the championship. Although they may have lost superstar slugger Albert Pujols since then, it hasn’t stopped baseball odd makers from pegging them with 14/1 odds of winning the World Series in 2012.

In order to get there, however, they’ll have to hold command of a hard-fought division lest they rely on a second consecutive miraculous run for the league wild card spot.

Standing as a threat are those same Brewers. Though having lost a star bat of their own, the Brewers are a competitive force in both the division and the league, and they have 35/1 odds on that same MLB futures betting line.

Think Ryan Braun can guide his club far enough to give the reigning champion a run for their money? Let hope so as  the Brewers (9-10) have allowed opponents to score first 14 times, including in each of their last eight games. A nice play in tonight's game may be the first 5 innings where the line is -1/2 run +110 or -137 in favor of the Cardinals.

Get your MLB odds now, sit back and enjoy the season.
